Cocoa Tour with the kiddies from Marabella Crisis Centre

Had a great time with the kids when they came to tour the Montserrat Cocoa Farmers Co-op!

Some of the sweetest and most well-mannered kids I've ever met :) The highlight for me was hanging out with one remarkably articulate little boy, Zion (far left) and hearing him churn out one product idea after the other... and he's 6!!! Now these are the kind of kids we want getting into cocoa.

In Miami - What's next? - LAS VEGAS!

On to Las Vegas for a NETZCH Chocoeasy hands-on demo... first time in Vegas -- only have time for work though -- The cocoa vida ain't easy... it's CHOCOeasy!!

NETZSCH Chocoeasy Demo

Pretty cool stuff, or as a certain friend would say: "Cool Beans!" LOL. It was a really nice training demo with Harry Way, (NETZSCH USA South Regional Manager and all-round good guy :)) Met lots of great people in the chocolate world including people from Qzina Specialty Foods, Fortunato No. 4, FCIA and Mars.

It was a great surprise to run into my old friend Nicole Trutainisch, Owner of Bean-to-Bar operation, Bar Au Chocolat based in California, who I hadn't seen since our Training at Barry Callebaut Chocolate Academy in Belgium!

Our 1st Chocolate Ambassador Event ...

was a total hit!!
